I was trained as a Medical Assistant (caregiver) and worked for 10 years as one in Oncology, Cardiology, and Family Medicine. I made the decision to semi-retire when my mother was diagnosed with Dementia. I wanted to be more available to help in her care and to be more present for her as a companion. After my mother's passing I made the decision to become a caregiver for the community of people in her honor. I have an extensive history in customer service which has trained me in communications and to respect differences. I am friendly, responsible, trustworthy, and caring. I am highly aware of my surroundings and see the needs presented in caring for the elderly.

Theresa was an excellent companion for my 97 year old mother . She always arrived on time and left detailed notes of her visits. Theresa gave my mom her full attention by accompanying her to activities in the building such as painting, puzzling, bingo, and music concerts. When weather allowed she took my mom out for walks in her wheelchair. When I met Theresa she said I could remember her name by thinking of Mother Theresa. And in many ways she was a saint to me and my mom. I would 100% recommend her was any senior care job. Shawn
