About Ashley

I started in the health care at 18 as a in home caregiver. I really enjoyed the 1 + 1 time and getting to know each other on a deeper level and become somewhat family. I remember having my first client and we loved each other so much and enjoyed each other's time. She hadn't been out of her home in 5 years and had no family. I asked her what is something that you have been craving and she looked at me and said " a cheeseburger from McDonalds". So that next day I went and got her 2 cheeseburgers and a shake, and when I saw that smile I knew I was in the right field. After a year I went on to a new journey and started working in assisted living. It was definitely a change cause you didn't get that one on one time but I made time and made sure my residents knew I would put in the extra to make them happy. After a few years of assisted living I got my CNA license. I started working in a nursing home and I really enjoyed it. I was able to experience more things in one setting than ever.
