With several years experience as a preschool teacher and nanny, I know what it takes to prepare children for Kindergarten. During my employment as a preschool teacher, I was also the center's Phonics teacher. In addition, I taught several extracurricular classes (music, reading, cooking, Spanish). I pride myself on keeping the learning experience exciting, fresh, and new. Lessons are always relevant, but the child doesn't have to know that :D If you feel your child may be behind, I will gladly assess them, give you an idea of where they need to be by Kindergarten, then work towards meeting those goals.

Sarah worked for us for over four years. She started with us when my youngest was a little over three months, the older two were two and three. She quickly became a member of our family and was well loved by all three children. She taught my kids every subject (including potty training!) using fun lessons so they didn't realize they were learning. As a result, my kids were well prepared for school and in many cases, farther along than their peers. In addition to teaching my kids book smarts, more importantly, she taught them to be kind. They have excellent manners, clean up after themselves and are respectful - in large part due to her influence. If my kids never grew up, we would have kept her forever. :) We will miss seeing her every day, but know that we will be in touch. She is truly one of a kind and will be a blessing to any future family.
