About Michelle

My name is Michelle and I love teaching kids! I have 2 older children, one of whom is in her 3rd year at a University, and I am currently homeschooling our 2 elementary aged children. I have paid experience as a professional substitute elementary teacher in the subjects I listed, as well as, volunteer teaching experience for 3 years in a classical homeschool co-op. My experience teaching and working with children from preschool through high school has helped me to see the various learning styles that children have. As a tutor, I can come alongside of them to partner with parents and help coach them in their understanding of subjects such as Math, English and Science. My goal will be to use their assigned curriculum while helping them understand concepts and how to apply them to their work.
