About Samara

Hello! I am 24 years old and just recently earned my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education as of May 2024. Throughout college I worked as a nanny both part-time and full time as well as a few different day cares and pre schools. While completing my degree program, I did student teaching with toddlers (2 years old), kindergartners, and first graders. I will be getting my teaching license very soon and plan on teaching kindergarten once that is obtained. Prior to college, I used to babysit for my aunt during the summer which kick started my love for caring for young children. My first job was at the UNLV pre-school where I developed a passion for early childhood education. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, nurturing, and hard-working. I love working with kids because no matter what stresses my day may bring, when I'm with kids all of that goes away for the time being. Kids are so pure and watching them learn and explore the world around them is extremely fulfilling.
