About Summer

Don’t let her young age fool and small stature fool you like it fooled me, Miss Summer is loaded with impressive skills and energy. Miss summer was a new teacher for my toddler son at the time, and she helped him with the big transition from home to junior preschool. I feel so appreciative of Miss summer because she treats her students like family, she encourages closeness between the kids (socially and emotionally), she designs her curriculum to fit the needs of the children (ex: dancing/music/fun games for boys who need to get their energy out). She doesn’t just say the rules, she actually puts herself in to play WITH them, with high energy. The way she teaches and projects her voice is engaging and enthusiastic for kids, so you’ll find your child having fun learning. She can become a child’s best friend but also have a boundary where she’s also a teacher. How does she do that?? Miss summer also has a natural ability to connect with each child at their level, to not only sympathize but also teach behaviors. My son would come home everyday saying or singing something new, had new good manners, which means whatever he learned in her classroom stuck. It’s not easy, since all kids are different and I already struggle with my own child. She will know your child as much as a mother knows their own child. Impressive. Too many good things to say but I don’t want to keep rambling. You’ll see how good she is once you hire her!
