I'm excited to share my love of the biological and health sciences with you! In my first career as an evolutionary biologist I taught courses in introductory biology, animal behavior, and statistics. I got my master's degree studying the ways in which crows (yes, the birds!) talk to each other. After an illness in my family, I switched gears to become a nurse and I have been working as a nursing educator and RN for 8 years. I am currently finishing my PhD in nursing, and looking for opportunities to teach and empower younger folks who dream of careers in science and health care.
