About Piper

Hello! I recently graduated from college, but am very familiar with how challenging school can be at any age. As the eldest sibling in my family, I have years of experience in helping my brothers and sisters through elementary school and middle school homework, night after night. My approach to tutoring is finding creative examples, sometimes silly and sometimes real-life, to help my students grasp the concept we're struggling with. Above all, patience is my key strength. I also have experience with managing ADHD when it comes to school and homework. Sitting down to study while dealing with attention/focus deficits can sometimes feel like oil and water, but I welcome the opportunity (or challenge) to put my best foot forward for your children using strength-based strategies for learning.
