I have tutored students from 5th through 9th grade in mathematics. I have also tutored for SAT test prep using released tests. I have been a middle school teacher for over 10 years. I've taught 6th through 8th grade Language Arts and Mathematics. I am a Georgia Certified teacher in Language Arts and Mathematics grades 4-8.

Melody W. has tutored my daughter since the Spring of 2014. She has patiently helped her study mathematics, language arts, social studies and the SAT. She uses creative examples to cover difficult concepts. Her attitude is hopeful and so wonderful that my husband and I feel her encouragement as well. My daughter was able to not only able to improve her grades, but moved up to an accelerated math class. Melody never simply give answers to her. Instead, she slowly and creatively explains the concepts and then used the Socratic method by step by step asking questions. Sometimes she uses associations or illustrations. We highly recommend her.
