About Kathleen

Hello! My name is Kathleen :) I recently retired from 31 years of teaching in both the California and Georgia public school systems. While I am certified to teach Pre-K - 5th grade, I am most comfortable working with students in grades Pre-K - 2nd grade in the area(s) of reading, writing, language arts, and mathematics. I also have 10 years of experience teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I will provide all learning resources and materials, and can travel directly to your home in order to provide you child with individualized instruction based on his/her learning profile. If preferred, I can work with your child at the nearest public library. My sessions range anywhere from 45 - 60 minutes. Thank you for your time and consideration!
