About Joanne

I have taught grades 3-8 in the Private schools and the public school system for over 8 years. I am certified to teach Language Arts, Reading and Math in grades 4-8. I am also Special Education certified for grades K-12 and have 6+ years' experience working with students with learning disabilities and various behavior needs. I have experience tutoring in several grade levels ranging from kindergarten through rising high school senior. I also am a pianist and have been playing for 20 years. I have taught lessons to students of various ages. My Bachelors Degree is in Middle Grades education, and my Masters Degree is in Reading Education. Working with students one-on-one is where I really feel I can make a difference and where my true passion lies!
