I am a Teach for America Alumni, and have been teaching for 6 years. I have a masters in Special Education from Arizona State University. I've taught grades kindergarten-3rd but tutored students from kinder to 8th grade. I am currently teaching second grade at KIPP Kirkpatrick in East Nashville. In college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Economics Department, and I taught introductory course in Economics as well as holding weekly study sessions for Economics students. I also volunteered in a first grade classroom in Chapel Hill, North Carolina as a English as a Second Language tutor. I worked as a babysitter for a family in Durham, North Carolina. I picked up their son daily from daycare and cared for him for 4 hours a day.
