About Saige

Hello! I am a 5th grade math and Algebra 1 teacher in South Nashville at LEAD Cameron. I have previously taught 5-8th grade math, Integrated Math 1 and 3, high school precalculus, and 8th grade science. I started teaching after graduating with my Bachelors in Human Development from Cornell University and receiving an offer through Teach for America Nashville in 2018. I am certified in 6-12 biology and math, as well as English as a Second Language. I have my Masters of Science in Math Education from Johns Hopkins University. I have experience working with all age groups and have a lot of background in developmentally appropriate and research backed best practices. I am hard working and curious and love learning. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me curled up with the crossword, binge watching survivor, or on the hunt for the best tacos in the city.
