About Mariah
Experience: 10 yrs
I am 32 years old. I have a 5-year-old son. I have been caring for children from newborns up to adults with special needs. It is a passion of mine to work with children, as well as watch them grow and develop. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Development, and my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. While attending college I was a nanny, prior to nannying I worked with children in an after-school program, and a summer program (ages 5-10) for three years. During my last year of college I worked with children and adults with special needs. Once I graduated with my Early Childhood Education degree, I taught an online Special Education class for one year before switching to a career in Child Protective Services. I worked in Child Protective Services for just shy of two years as a Foster Care Caseworker before moving to the Traverse City area. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.

Mariah has watched my 2 children on numerous occasions. She’s attentive, fun, and responsible. She is so great about playing with the kids and doing activities. Mariah has her own transportation which is a must for us and she gives us regular updates when caring for the kids. I feel so at ease when Mariah watches the kids, her child development knowledge and attention to detail is great.
