I began my studies in early childhood education in 2008 in Seattle. While in school I worked as a nanny. I'm confident in saying that every family I have worked for was very happy with the care I provided. They left the house everyday knowing their child would be safe and getting the experiences they needed to help them learn and grow. I later moved to my home town in California in 2014 and worked as a teacher in a Montessori classroom setting. After becoming pregnant, my husband and I decided to move to his home town Traverse City, Michigan in 2017. We wanted to raise our little girl in a more calm slow pace environment. I worked for Pathways preschool for one year and then transitioned to a nanny position caring for twin boys and I was able to bring my daughter with me. I then opened my in-home daycare Intrinsic Early Education in July 2019, then closed in July 2023 before having my daughter on October 27th 2023.

Theresa, or MyTresa, as my boys like to call her, worked as a sitter for my boys from the ages of 2 & 4 until 5 & 7. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was always on time, she was always ready to jump in with both feet into the little boy world. She was always kind and helpful. And she was always engaging and excited to see my boys. When I came home the house was tidy, the boys were happy and or sleeping in their beds, and I would hear stories the next day of the many forts and games that they played. Sometimes, I even asked her to meet me at a school event to take over and supervise them at their school event and make sure they had dinner before bed when I had to be somewhere else. My entire family was very sad when she moved. And my youngest will always remember her as MyTresa. Hire her!!!
