About Emily

Firstly, I am booked for summer but have open availability the end of August, and I am looking now. A little about me: I have 8 years experience working in early childhood education, as a teacher in preschool settings and as a professional nanny. I work with a conscious mindset, conscious that the first five years of life are the most important for creating healthy emotional regulation. My techniques are relationship-based, compassionate oriented, child led, as well as play and nature based. I care deeply about creating secure relationships with the kids I care for. I studied Early Childhood Education at NMC. I have experience with many age groups, newborn and on. I have experience handling big emotions and teaching emotional regulation. I love to get out of the house as well, hikes and picnics, parks and play dates, the library, museum, and other such adventures. I love being a guide for new adventures and experiences. Excited to possibly start a new adventure with your family!
