About Lori

I'm a retired Arizona elementary school teacher with experience in preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and ESL in grades K-5. I have 39 years of experience in public schools. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a master's degree in early childhood education, and endorsements in several areas including ESL. I've worked with students in large and small group settings in the classroom. I've tutored reading, writing, and math for students from Korea for 5 years. We worked at the public library at Mountain Park Ranch and in Chandler. We stopped tutoring during the pandemic and I never began again with new students as they would move back to Korea after a two year work visa period. I'd love to tutor again to help students strengthen their skills. I kept my rates at $30 an hour to make it more affordable than the going rate of $40-50 back in 2019.
