About Emily

Hello Parents! My name is Emily, I'm 22, and recently moved to Kalamazoo to finish my bachelor's degree at WMU. I've always loved working with kids and have years of childcare experience. I've worked at an in-home daycare with children of all ages, in a 12-24 month classroom, and most recently as a full-time nanny for three children under 4. I primarily specialize in infant and toddler care and have also been a TA in a preschool classroom. I have extensive experience with developmental delays and medical-related situations, including G-Tube feedings. I've completed Infant/Toddler CPR & First Aid and food safety training and maintain a Mandated Reporter certification. I also have experience driving children to activities and providing overnight care for ages 6 months-12 years. I'm known for bringing a bag of surprises with crafts, coloring supplies, and activities! I'm currently looking for date-night/evening and weekend babysitting, but am also open to part-time nannying roles.
