About Melanie

Hi! I'm Melanie, a mom to a 24-month-old, looking to care for 1-2 children in my home or bring my son to another home. I have over 5 years of experience in lifeguarding and swim lessons, 3 years as a nanny, a year working in a group home, and current daycare experience. I hold a CDA for infants and toddlers (0-3) as well as CPR/First Aid certification, and I've cared for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I provide a nurturing, play-based environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged. I enjoy crafts, outdoor play, and music. I don't provide screen time, and try to create a responsive and warm environment. I am hoping to form community with other families in my area.
