About Corinne

Hi my name is Corinne and I am currently a sophomore at Wake Forest University. I am looking to study Health and Exercise Science, Psychology, and Spanish, but I have a background in all subject areas. In the past, I have tutored middle school students in social studies/history and elementary school students in general areas. I have a little brother who I have helped with homework through elementary school and middle school with reading comprehension and math. If you would like to know a little about me, I play club basketball and love to run half marathons in my free time. I feel like playing sports gives me perspective for analogies and creative thinking that children may be able to better connect to subject matter with. Memorization is my favorite because coming up with mnemonic devices can definitely be made into an imaginative experience. I truly believe that connecting learning material to things you love makes a difference in life-long learning rather than learning for a test.
