About Cora

Hi there! I'm a 26-year-old artist and writer based in Portland and splitting my time in Midcoast Maine. I've been working with children since I was 14, primarily in outdoor education, nannying, and tutoring. I graduated from Middlebury College in 2020 with a degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies, and love tutoring in all subjects! After graduating, I moved to Maine, where I worked at Wolf's Neck Center's Farm Discovery School. Since then, I've served as a visiting artist at the Friend's School of Portland, as a host and server at Cong Tu Bot, and worked for the Maine Youth Action Network. I also teach guitar lessons! I love spending time with young people, and believe in responsive, flexible, honest and fun approaches to learning. I'm excited to work with any age for whatever your needs may be, and am especially excited about assisting with writing, whether it's for class or on a college essay.
