Hello! My name is Chel and I have been working with kids as an assistant teacher and babysitter going on four years now. I am most familiar with ages 3mon - 7yr olds, having a background in Reggio Emilio and dabbled in Montessori I am adamant about encouraging independence and curiosity. Balancing having fun and playing together and encouraging cleaning up after ourselves as we go through the day. My goal as your babysitter is to be a trusted helping hand, so you can relax, unwind and take some time for yourself. As a former assistant teacher I am comfortable being your "right hand man". I understand the importance of routine and know how long they take to curate and maintain and my job is to help execute those routines while you're away. To help provide accuracy and ease of mind at the end of our time I provide an itinerary, along with attaching any pictures of our time together. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Chel! They cared for our youngest son every Thursday from the time he was around 5 months old through 14 months, and we absolutely loved having them as part of his routine. Chel is incredibly dependable, communicative, and caring. They would take him on long walks, bring him to the library, play with him, and always send pictures and updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. I always felt completely comfortable knowing he was in great hands with Chel. Now that our son is starting daycare, we will absolutely continue using Chel as a babysitter for both of our boys. We feel very lucky to have found them and would highly recommend Chel to any family looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely wonderful with kids!
