About Catherine

Hi, I'm Cat! I'm a seasoned Special Education Teacher, former art teacher, and a lifelong lover of learning. Fun, play, creativity, and, developmentally appropriate opportunities for growth, learning, and self-expression are at the core of both my own personal life and my work with children. As a seasonal youth rock climbing/caving/backcountry guide, I love introducing children to nature and have extensive first aid training. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder with 4 years of wilderness medical experience. I put great effort into creating activities and promoting an environment that is warm, encouraging, and meets each child's individual emotional and developmental needs. I consider it a great privilege to be welcomed into the homes of families to care for their children, and I hope for the honor of being welcomed into yours too!
