About Helen

Hi, my name is Helen. I'm 63 years old. I have five daughters ranging and age from 35 to 18. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have been working as a special ed teaching assistant in an elementary school for 24 years. I work with the general ed population and have worked consistently with children with special needs including ADHD, speech and language impairment, and autism. I'm also currently working part-time with a 20-year-old woman with developmental delays. This position is through an agency that required fingerprinting and numerous hours of online training. I have a tremendous amount of compassion for an understanding of people of various ages with learning disabilities and developmental delays. I work in a school district Monday through Friday but I am available for after school care into the evenings and on weekends and holidays.
