About Brennan

I began working at a summer camp at age 18 working w/ 9-year-olds, then went on to work with 5, 6, & 7-year-olds. Before working at the summer camp, I babysat children ranging in ages from 5 months to 15 years old. I also have a lot of experience working with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. I began working with individuals with disabilities when I volunteered with the Special Olympics. In high school, I was given the opportunity to be a teaching assistant in the Special Education classroom. While I was a teaching assistant, I got to help prepare students for life after high school, such as developing life and job skills. While in college, I continued to work at the summer camp during summer break and work with children with disabilities throughout the year. I also participated in Best Buddies club in high school and college. I just recently graduated college and am working as a SPED TA for FCPS. I will start working towards my Masters degree next year.
