About Anna

Hello, My name is Anna. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I have a degree in Science Education with a concentration in Biology. I was three time captain of the UNCP Volleyball Team and three time Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team. I am a certified High School Science Teacher. I am certified to teach Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy. I love helping students connect science concepts with everyday life. I find this helps students remember the information better. I also like to teach in a hands-on and interactive way. This helps the children stay focused and enjoy the learning process. I am a fun and exciting person. I have been tutoring for two years and teaching as well. I like to make sure my students are enjoying the work and not miserable. I like to take kids outside to enjoy fresh air and be active. I find it is important to stay active. I am excited to work with your kids!
