Hi my name is Sheyla, I am 26 years old and I have a passion in working with kids. I have experience working with kids from the ages of five months up to 12 years old. I have about three years of paid experience working with children and three years volunteer experience. I am very upbeat and outgoing, I enjoy being active and playing sports with the kids. Some of my best qualities are being patient and very understanding. I enjoy helping kids with any type of homework or activities. I am comfortable providing any type of duties at home from prepping food meals, or transporting children to activities. I also have great references from families I have worked with in the past. Following 17 years at IBM, I enjoyed 15 years of tutoring my two children from learning to read through Advanced Placement high school classes. They often brought their classmates home so that I could also help them understand material. I tutored a neighbor's grammar school children 3/days per week for a year until their grades raised to grade level (all as a volunteer). I have worked with young people for 30 years through work as a Girl Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, and religious education teacher. Professionally, I have tutored since 2014. I have especially enjoyed teaching preschoolers how to read and preparing them for kindergarten, as well as working with grammar school through high school students with more rigorous academics. I strive to explain the material in a way that connects with each child and their individual interests.

Hello all! I have 18 ECE units and years of childcare experience. I have worked as a nanny for years and as a preschool teacher at preschool in San Mateo. I love working with children of all ages, being able to take part in their growth and learning process is so rewarding! I have worked with ages from newborns to middle school aged children. I am an artist of many medium and believe that nurturing a creative side in children is great for their mental development. Incorporating learning into play is a great way to help little ones recognize that its possible to get smarter and progress further while still enjoying themselves. Available for child care and dog walking services. Right now I work in a senior home and do neither of child care or dog walking but looking to fill my extra time. Past experience with child care started in 2010 with ages 3-8. I do not have experience with newborns or children under 3. I absolutely love children and caring for others as my own. I do not have children for the simple fact I'm busy trying to graduate college as an x-ray technician and currently in school part time. I have taken Early Childhood Education classes and have obtained my CPR/BLS certificate and also certified in EKG. I have tons of patience and continue to polish those skills at the senior home I currently work for. A typical introduction and getting to know the children would be speaking with the parents about what they would like to be included within the time I spend with them. Next would be discussing with the children about what they like. This can get creative such ad board games, trivial games, artsy stuff, outings/sports, etc. I have a valid DL and clean record. Hello, my name is Diana. In the past I've taken care of two children; a 13-year-old boy with epilepsy conditions and a 3-month-old baby. I was mostly home alone with the kids. I fed them breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner, changed the kids diapers, read to the kids, go out for walks, watch educational shows together, and sometimes load and unload their dishwasher. I've also worked in schools as a secretary and as a one on one support for children if all ages. I love to cook and enjoy organizing.
