Our little guy enjoys playing games, going to the pool, going to parks, playing in the back yard, watching movies, playing with toys, exploring sensory bins, reading flip and pop up books, and staying busy. We are looking for a caregiver with lots of energy that is comfortable redirecting a toddler with special needs. Our ideal caregiver is patient, caring, comfortable with occasional meltdowns and tantrums, able to redirect, and enjoys narrating and describing what they're doing. We do have parking at our home or can potentially assist with transport. We do have a dog that can be put in daycare if necessary. Our little guy is a little too enthusiastic with him sometimes. He's a Rhodesian ridgeback that is also a little enthusiastic but settles after he meets a person.

I'm Laine and the mom of 2 amazing boys on the spectrum! My oldest son (11) is severely developmentally delayed and requires assistance with tasks such as, toilet training, self care, etc., and requires constant supervision, as he is an elopement risk. My youngest (9) is higher functioning and struggles more with defiance, yet thrives with 1 on 1 attention; where my 11-year-old is more independent. I am looking for weekly help assisting with the care of our boys. I'm looking for someone who could provide care roughly 20 hours a week. I'm looking for care after school 3-5 days a week with an optional Saturday. Our goal is to find someone who can support and enhance our family system.
