Hi there! Searching for a vibrant, flexible, and patient caregiver for our 7 yo son. He has ADHD, sees everything beyond face value, wants to test everything to it's limit, and manifests grand ideas. He digs his heals in and takes a hot minute to accept when the answer is no. While boundaries are important, collaborative problem solving tends to work better than behavioral interventions in the long run. If you find yourself drawn to the kiddos that don't color in the lines and would likely choose to color on walls over paper, we may be a good fit. The schedule is somewhat flexible. We have three kids. One six one 10 and one eight. The 8-year-old is special needs. She is low functioning autistic.

2 high strong boys (11 and 12) one with high functioning autism and the other with oppositional defiant disorder, and both with deficits in functioning. We need someone who is able to be firm and can understand that nothing is personal. Both boys are super dysregulated before their medication kicks in. I need someone to come when I leave for work and wake the boys, feed them and give them their medication. (You can absolutely sleep until 6, when they wake for school.)

Looking for a full-time caregiver for our 7 y/o Autistic son. H experiences seizures which are under control. H is friendly and EASY-GOING kid. He loves playing at the park and listening to music. Role Description: H needs a constant supporting presence to keep him on track throughout his day. While very mobile and independent H has low dexterity in his hands and needs help with many basic things. The ideal candidate is someone who is there to help when needed without taking away the independence that he loves. Interested in finding an occasional sitter for my two kids. One child has autism and is minimally verbal but super sweet. I am a single mom and really need a break sometimes. I would love to go on a date this coming Monday, and then maybe have a night out on the weekend every other week. Older son loves video games, younger son loves physical play. Younger son sometimes uses AAC to communicate but can say many words as well. My younger son is very independent in the bathroom but may need reminder to flush and wash hands. Would love if someone was experienced with kids that struggle with speech and are patient.

Looking for someone to hang out with my 13-year-old special needs son on Friday evenings and weekends. He enjoys someone participating in activities with him and going on community outings. He also likes someone to give him company while he chills on the ipad and watches videos. It is not necessary for a provider to have all three days/ times available. One day will do and timings are flexible especially on the weekend. Provider will be set up as a personal support worker through an agency. Pay is $24/hr plus benefits.

Thursdays get really challenging for me trying to juggle getting my daughters to their extracurricular activities. One goes to ballet at 5:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. and the other has to be at practice at 7-9 p.m. in Vancouver. I have a special needs foster kid and a dog at home as well. Just in need of someone avail to drop off and pick up.

Looking for someone with special-needs experience (preferably autism) to pick up our sweet 13-year-old after school and drive her home. (The morning run is a possibility, too.) School pickup is in Wilsonville, home dropoff is in north Portland; total drive time is about two hours. Must have a clean driving record and valid auto insurance. Pay is hourly, plus mileage reimbursement if you use your own car instead of ours. Everyone in the household is fully vaccinated. Summer session runs early July into mid-August; conventional school year begins after Labor Day.

Hi! We are in search of a provider for 1 on 1 care for our 4-year-old daughter. She is a bright and happy girl that enjoys being outside, reading books, music, and swimming. She has challenges due to a genetic disorder, so any experience with special needs care and/or augmentative communication therapies is highly desired. Logistically, we are looking for a provider that can support full-day childcare [8am-5/6pm], anywhere from a few days a week to a full work week (M-F). Establishing which days of the week are flexible and can be regular once established. We are also looking for a provider that is taking precautions during the pandemic.
