We are looking for a caregiver for our 16-year-old daughter with Autism; our daughter is high-functioning. She currently goes to school full-time, but starting in January she will most likely start school online through School System. You will be responsible for keeping her on task while doing schoolwork and homework. Monitoring her basic hygiene routine (brushing her teeth, putting on deodorant, and dressing appropriately). Helping her develop basic social skills by engaging her in activities within the community. Monitoring her diet throughout the day; planning and preparing meals for her as needed. You need to be able to be flexible, as her behavior can change throughout the day; for example, should she have a meltdown, you need to be able to adapt to what is happening around you.

We have a special-needs daughter that needs diaper changes and special attention. We have a healthcare aide that comes Mon-Friday to assist with her care. The other 3 take care of themselves for the most part. There will be a weekly need for some extracurriculars to be determined and horseback riding on Saturday mornings.
