We are looking for a great babysitter for 1 child in Bremerton. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified. Special education experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable in caring for special needs children with Down Syndrome, Autism, Medical needs, exc.

We are looking for a nanny for our 6-year-old son for the upcoming summer. He is autistic and mostly non-speaking, though is able to communicate most of his needs with words and phrases. He is playful and cuddly and does well with caretakers who are warm, silly, and validating. Ideal match will have experience working with special needs children but this is not a dealbreaker if you are open to learning. We will occasionally also need care for our neurotypical 4-year-old and will pay more for those days. Hours and days are flexible but we would like to have a set schedule once we find what works. Between 20-25 hours ideally based on your availability. We would love to get started with weekend and/or evening sitting prior to summer for you to get to know each other.

Hello! We are looking for part-time summer care for our sweet 19-yr-old son with special needs. He is very interactive and silly, loves activity and going places, and he also adores spending quality time watching musicals and solving jigsaw puzzles (up to 100 pieces, with help). He is a great errand buddy, and he loves to help! He is largely nonverbal, cognitively around ages 4-6, and still requires pull ups. Diaper changes/wiping required, CPR/choking training preferred. We are very flexible with days/times, we can work with your schedule to find the best fit.

Prior to my in-home fall four and a half years ago I was very active in the Bainbridge Island community both as a volunteer at BIMA and at the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. I have also been a therapy dog volunteer as well as a hospice volunteer. I need someone to help for approximately six hours in the morning, from 6 a.m. till noon. I need help with my bed bath, toileting, transfer with the Hoyer lift to my wheelchair, dressing and hair care. Additionally I need help with light housekeeping and some shopping. I am a pharmacist and I work full time and my husband watches the children full time and also owns a landscaping business.
