I am a Travel Nurse, and my husband is a Law Enforcement Officer. We need care for a 2- youth. 1- 11yr old boy. typically functioning, responsible, and only home until weds am. 1-10 yr old, very high functioning young girl with ASD. She is very bright, articulate, and able to provide most of her own care, however we do not like the idea of leaving the children home alone until the am. (I travel for work. Their dad works afternoons 4 days/week. ) Ideal candidate would be CPR certified, Pet friendly (we have 2 small and one large dog), familiar with special needs such as ASD, SPD, emotionally challenged children, as well as have a valid unencumbered drivers license able to transport children to/from school, sports, and appointments. Proficient with Math, and willing to be her voice when she cannot express herself.
