Daily duties include house cleaning, maintenance, organizing, & meal preparation. Seeking care for my grandmother in her 80s. Services needed: bathing / dressing, medication prompting, mobility assistance. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my grandmother: she can be anxious, lethargic, grouchy. Grandmother has dementia. Does not need much care as she sleeps a majority of the time. Just need someone who can make sure she doesn't do anything dangerous or get into things she is not supposed to. I'm looking for someone who is patient, firm, fond of pets. I would just like someone who can manage my sometimes needy grandmother. Every day is a new challenge. My grandmother is different everyday. Some days she is awake and alert. Sometimes she is very anxious and needy. We just want someone who can be around while we are at work and make sure she doesn't get into any trouble. She will constantly ask for medications and look for them if not being watched. She has also been known to empty the refrigerator to find food. She uses a bedside toilet that needs to be emptied regularly and needs assistance with wiping and reminded of basic hygiene such as hand washing.
