Seeking companion care near Sun City Center for my mother in her 80s. We need companion care to add to quality of life. Physically capable with all personal care and mobility. Some light housekeeping and laundry. We're looking for help preparing meals to help remove burden on spouse. Some oversight taking meds and standby assist as needed. She lives with her husband who recently had falls. She is cognitive but has some memory issues. Be creative with conversation or simple activities. Take for drive or lunch. She loves to play Checkers and Monopoly Transporting to/from appointments if requested. Caregiver should be a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained and experienced with dementia is needed. 5 -6 days- ideally 11-2 and 5-9p to start. compatibility is most important vs skills

Meal preparation for lunch and dinner, for 2 people. an elderly woman with cancer on hospice care and an elderly man with mild dementia. As part of hospice, skilled nursing visits her 3x's per week and home health visits 2x's per week to help her bathe, Very sweet couple, married over 60 years. Daughter lives in SE FL and will visit several times per month, as well echeck in with her parents daily and with the caretaker. Caretaker will look after them during the day. They both can walk and they can dress and feed themselves, though she is weaker and uses a walker. They are challenged in preparing meals and getting out of the house. Besides meal preparation, caretaker will remind them to take am/pm medications, will change hearing aid batteries for him once or twice per week (as needed), will empty bedside commode daily, will scoop liter box daily, and assist with minor light housework as needed or requested. Caretaker will also provide transportation and accompany to doctor's appointments locally, if needed, but those are very few. Reading the newspaper and watching old classic movies and westerns. Both are social drinkers, beer and wine. Experience in care-taking for elderly with good ratings and references. CNA is a plus. To get to our home daily on your own. 1 indoor cat, declawed (very shy, you might not see him).

At the moment I am looking for someone who can come to my home Monday-Friday between 6am-2 p.m. EST to help me with my youngest 3 children while my older children are in school. He needs to be dropped off by 6:30 a.m. My 10-year-old and 6-year-old go to school at 7:10 a.m. but I will take them myself. My ideal Nanny must have great time management skills, love kids, read stories to my kids, take them on field trips to the park ,Gardens, etc. I currently work at home but also leave home for work for a few hours throughout the day.
