79-year-old high-functioning dementia client who needs PRN assistance. This would include help with transfer if he falls at night while trying to ambulate to the bathroom, and check-ins during the day when he's left alone. The client LOVES College Football, especially the Virginia Tech Hokies. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, who exhibits patience with the geriatric dementia population. CPR/BLS certification suggested. The home has access to parking. We have an 11-year-old Yorkie whom is calm and loving.

About who needs care: Wheelchair bound. Have a people mover to use for using the bathroom and moving to the chair or bed. Very friendly Uncle. Lives on the family property in his own home. Need someone who is able to use the people mover equipment. About the care needs: Will need to be able to possibly lift my uncle, if needed. My Uncle is friendly and enjoys talking but it is not required all the time. It would be great to have conversations.
