Have experience with hoyer lift and wound care preferred but not required. Be comfortable working in a home environment excepting training. A respectful work environment will be provided. Other duties include feeding, light housekeeping and medication distribution. Experienced preferred but not required, will train. Hi! I am looking for live-in caregivers starting March 1. I am living with my 90-year-old father and need help. Preferably Spanish speaking. My father is cognitively aware. He has bad knees and a weak back and prefers to lay in his hospital bed or sit in his wheelchair/lift recliner. He is able to walk short distances using a walker. He can be left alone for example watching TV, or when eating a meal. He will let you know when he needs assistance. Caregivers must be available to work (approximately) M-F 7AM-4 p.m. I work outside the home during these hours. Weekend hours will be needed as well. Weekend hours can be discussed and may vary.
