Three days a week are needed from 9-11:30 a.m. We are also in need of evenings 7-9 p.m. Monday thru Sunday. Each day is getting patient ready for the day, wash locally in bed, change undergarment protection and get patient dressed. Prepare breakfast get patient into her wheelchair and take her to the bathroom as needed. Husband can provide assistance for some of these tasks. Make bed and repeat routine in the evening. About the care needs: Must be strong as to lift patient safely. Soft spoken personality with patience. Experience with dementia symptoms. Loving dogs is a plus! Able to provide references helpful. Seeking hands-on care for my 94-year-old father with Alzheimer's. He lives at home with my 78 yr old mom, who cares for him. Two part-time caregivers currently assist my mom care for my dad; one from 8am-1 p.m. Mon-Sat & the other 4pm-9 p.m. on Tues-Wed-Thurs.
