Due to fall risk, he needs constant guidance, reminding, and a consistent routine. He's ambulatory, not bed bound, and also needs companionship, stimulating activities, and light daily exercise. He is a recent stroke survivor and has confusion and delirium, but is otherwise healthy and in good physical shape. 5'7 and 173 lbs. Enjoys discussing fishing, travel, karate, and is a big foodie. Loves different types of food and great sense of humor.

I need senior care provider with experience in making dinner simple meals but Not a sandwich. My mom needs light help getting dressed for bed and put to bed. She can walk and needs reminding to use her walker. She can go to bathroom but just needs you to stand and assist. She will need help w shower 2x a week. My 92 yr old father also lives there but he is sharp and independent. He would need dinner prepared along with my mom. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Help Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Some light tidying up is involved. About who needs care: I am seeking care for my 82-year-old father who is bedbound with a feeding tube in place and total care. He is undergoing wound care as well. He lives with me in a cat friendly, single story home. We are located in Monterey Park, CA. Currently, I am his sole, full time care provider. We are both fully COVID vaccinated and I have my third dose booster already scheduled. No other family members or caregivers share the household. Home health wound care nurses visit two to three times weekly. Services needed include: Tube feeding, diaper changes, urinary catheter management (empty bag throughout the day), custodial responsibilities, repositioning in bed. No assistance needed with housekeeping duties. *Caregiver must be cat friendly*

Caregiver would have to administer diabetes medication to patient, be comfortable with assisting patient with bathing, going to the restroom, cleaning up bed dressings, and cooking meals. Caregiver has to be ok with pets and cigarette smoke. Caregiver would have to work Saturdays and Sundays only. We are looking to pay around $10 an hour.
