Duties include med & vitamin dispensing. Ensure adequate water is being consumed, Ensure blood pressure, transcutaneous oxygen & weight is monitored & interventions are followed & meds adjusted as needed. Keep daily chart notes up to date. Ensure a daily routine of light exercise, use of spirometer, as well as physical therapy assigned exercises are followed. Assistance with mobility and bathroom, We can provide prepared meals. Drive to activities/appointments. Prepare for bed. She has an external catheter system. She appreciates an optimistic, upbeat caregiver w/ a sense of humor.. We are looking for a fun-loving, caring, involved, patient nanny for my 4yo son with special needs and our 17-month-old daughter. Someone who is excited to come and be silly and have fun with our happy kids, and help our son develop and thrive! Care for my son includes carrying him (not mobile), dressing, feeding (eats purées by mouth, and we can teach how to use his g-tube for fluids/meds), assisting him with some of his therapies at home (a therapist comes 1x per week and teaches us!), and just playing and loving him! He adores people and is really starting to have fun with toys and crafts and music! He does 1/2 day pre-k! We also have a 17-month-old baby girl who loves playing, eating and sleeping. You'll have a blast with her! We pay ON TIME, are a loving family with clean, smoke-free, vaccinated home!

Looking for a compassionate and competent caregiver to assist my Grandmother during the week. A caregiver who is knowledgeable and experienced with clients who suffer from Dementia is a plus, as my Grandmother's health has recently declined due to Dementia. She often forgets her walker (oops), and needs reminders to take her medication. Otherwise she remains independent in most of her activities of daily living. Responsibilities would include: Preparing snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your time with them. Encouraging light exercise (walks & stretches) to keep the client active and physically moving. Tidying up the house and helping with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client. Transporting the client to nearby appointments or engagements.

About who needs care: We are looking for someone to initially care for my mother who hurt her leg and needs help around the house until it heals. She was at the hospital today 9/11 and we need immediate assistance with getting her to the bathroom, shower, get her in and out of the wheelchair until her leg heals. Meals/snacks. Light house tasks. Once she is healed, she is looking for more of companionship, transportations, errands, however, if you don't want to do that, we really need most urgent care described above now and can find someone else to do this more long term. She had a stroke in 2017 and got through physical therapy ok, but has a left visual field cut so she shuffles when she walks. She also has some arthritis. Her hobbies in the house are just going through her papers, emails, social media, TV, and having someone to talk to. She usually likes to walk when she does not have a bum leg. Ideal day: She gets up around 7:30/8 and likes to get ready for the day. She eats breakfast (typically oatmeal with berries) and coffee after. Starts taking her meds at 10:30. She typically eats dinner around 4:30 p.m. and has a snack in between breakfast and dinner. Usually leftovers from the previous night dinner. Her dinners are frozen entrees unless we order something. She does not cook but has tuna, hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc... About the care needs: Someone with patience. she does repeat herself sometimes. Just someone who can help her mobilize. She is about 110 lbs and usually better mobility other than a hurt knee and in a wheel chair. When she can walk normally, she does like to go the grocery store, and sometimes walk around and go to get something to eat. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

The family is in need of full-time overnight care for mom and dad. The couple is in their 80s and dealing with varying levels of dementia and sun downers. The main focus would be maintaining a nightly routine and dealing with any dementia related issues throughout the night. There may be occasional snack prep in the evenings. In addition, mom has mobility issues which require bathroom and hygiene assistance. The majority of meal prep and housekeeping is provided by the daytime caregiver.
