My family and I are seeking a homecare provider for our 91-year-old mother. She has been in the hospital from a broken femur on her left leg. She has slowly shown signs of having cognitive and memory loss leading to Alzheimer's - Dementia. She has been in a Care facility and will be release Monday 1/23/23. Services needed include: mobility assistance, companionship, physical exercise, meals, and bathing/dressing. She may also be a fall risk.

I need someone with experience with dementia patients and mood changes. This is primarily for my dad's wife who has advanced dementia. My dad does have some cognitive issues from mild strokes. He enjoys taking walks. Susie, his wife requires some attention which seems to make her happier but she can get combative at times. Your duties would mainly be administering medication. Preparing meals, bathing when needed and light housekeeping. Feed breakfast and give medication. Assist with dressing. Prepare and feed them lunch. Cleaning up after meals. When the weather is nice they like to sit outside on porch. My Dad does enjoy taking walks and occasionally saying hi to the neighbors.

I'm not a senior, but this was the best caregiving category. I am a 49yo very large handicapped person who cannot stand or walk. I do have 24/7 help from my husband and I'd like to add assistance. We have a housekeeper that comes every 2 weeks and a house helper who comes twice a week, so you would have aid in those areas. I need overall help including: Helping with exercises Assist in transfers Pool buddy or watcher Bathing & Grooming Hair washing Lotioning Dressing Helping with Medication Foley Catheter Care Bowel Management Light Housekeeping/Organizing Meal Prep once in awhile Easy Errands I'm sure I'm forgetting things but hope this explains, I'm hopeful to hire someone who is kind, reliable and loves helping others. We are looking for a nanny to assist with managing day-to-day household items and help take care of our 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. Both kids are in school. The ideal schedule has you coming to our house for 1-2 hours before picking up the kids from school and help with laundry (folding and putting away), dishes, making lunches/snacks for the next day of school and helping with dinner prep. Then once getting the kids, we'd love for the nanny to take them to any after school activities, help our 2nd grader with homework, or do fun park/fun activities. Having someone who can be flexible to stay later once or twice a month for date nights would be great.

About who needs care: Has macular degeneration but still able to see pretty well. Beginning stages of dementia. Mobile. I (daughter) live in the home and will usually be here but need a break Hours and pay are negotiable. The job is very routine and I checked any duties which might be needed but it is actually an easy job for a caregiver. Mom gets Meals on Wheels and just needs assistance with many things.
