We are a homeschooling family with four children in grades K, 1st, 3rd, and 4th. I need assistance a couple days a week to help our days run smoothly. The responsibilities would include: helping prep snacks and lunch, working with the children to complete their chores, assisting the children with their school assignments, and supervising activities. Family and friends live too far away to assist when I need medical procedures that require sedation and the hospitals/surgical centers/doctors do not allow for the taking of taxies (or just anyone except a family member - and sometimes a friend) from such a procedure. About the care needs: I need someone who can drive me to and from procedures - preferably a nursing aid or nurse (because that is what a lot of Dr. s and hospitals require if one does not have family) - and then stay 1-8 hours (depending on the procedure) after to watch me, make meals (if necessary), make sure I take my meds, etc. while recovering. Services needed include: transportation.
