Hello! We live in Jamaica Plain and are looking for a part-time nanny for our 2-year-old son. He is a sweet, curious little boy, and this job will be a lot of fun! Our little guy has a blast at daycare every day until 4 pm! Then, we are looking for an amazing nanny who will swoop in to pick him up and bring him back home (a 7-minute drive) for some fun playtime, followed by a delicious dinner and a warm, bubbly bath. Our ideal nanny is a pro at making awesome lunches for the next day and even helps out with his laundry once or twice a week. We are a short walk to Jamaica Pond and the Arboretum. These outdoor locations provide loads of opportunities for fun activities. We are a pet-free household and there is free street parking. You must be willing to walk 20 mins along the pretty greenway corridor past Green St (or drive 5 mins), hopefully stop at a playground, weather permitting (by car if not). We will also sometimes need evening care, dinner/bath/bed when I work late and partner is away. So we are hunting for people who can be long term sitters, especially anyone with flexible schedules who is looking for supplementing work. Some light meal prep may be required. Sometimes I may need one or other of them to be taken to a class or volunteering, otherwise you can just be home with them. We have a small very friendly dog who will love you.
