We're looking to hire a caring, dynamic person to join our family as a long-term, part-time nanny. Our son is a loving, curious, and active 12-year-old. He has Interstitial Dup15q Syndrome. Presentation includes profoundly developmentally delayed, autistic, epileptic, hypotonic. This position is ideal for a college or nursing student, or someone with a more flexible schedule and who is interested in working with a disabled child. No medical experience necessary, but CNAs are always a plus! I have a 6-year-old son that I will need help with a few days a week. I work in healthcare so my schedule varies, but essentially I need someone who can be at my house by 0530 am, get my son up, breakfast and dressed for school because I will have to leave by 5:45 a.m. They should be able to drive him to elementary school and pick him up at 3:30 until I can get home. Some days I will be on call so I may need this person for a little longer in the afternoons on those days.
