North Garden, VA Part Time Jobs

Were looking for care two days a week for our 4-month-old once I go back to work.

Days/Hours to be determined, part-time only. My mother is recovering from a hip fracture complicated by Parkinson's. She came home 9/22. Assistance with transfers is required at this time. We do have in-home PT/OT/Nursing scheduled and have family caring for her now. Her current needs are assistance with personal hygiene and continual re-positioning in a hospital bed (bed/pillow adjustments, ice packs, fresh bedding as needed, etc). This is not a full time position though likely long-term. - I'm new to this platform and haven't figured out how to change the days/hours or remove laundry as a requirement (willingness to do laundry and light housekeeping is helpful, not required). About who needs care: 81-year-old with Dementia, beginning signs of Alzheimer's. Fully independent and still drives locally. Walks without assistance but needs to increase her endurance which is currently below her abilities allow. She also needs to be reoriented from time to time and does repeat herself. She is anxious and needs reassurance. She lost her two closest single friends to new partners and her Senior Center turned into a Public Center so post Covid she is lonely and needs encouragement to try different activities at the Recreational Center. She does have immediate family right next door who are currently looking in on her but it is time for a helping hand. She loves her home and property and the animals on it. She loves travel and socializing. About the care needs: She will need someone who is patient. A good listener as she is chatty. Someone willing to run errands with her. She still drives and has her own vehicle. Someone who knows the area of Charlottesville is a plus. Someone willing to do day activities such as a movie, lunch out, a museum, etc. An active senior with similar interests isn't necessary but would be a plus for her

Looking for someone to watch our youngest son born 6/2022 Thursdays and Fridays. 8a-5:30PM.

About who needs care: She is a very social person in great health. She has difficulty remembering things. She likes to do puzzles and knit and go for walks. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Charlottesville family in need of a part-time tutor for Art, English, Math, Sports & Fitness to get us through year's end. We have an awesome COVID foster-fail dog who quickly warms up. Our two boys can mostly navigate the afternoon independently, but our oldest loses focus quickly by the time he returns home. Both boys could benefit from reinforcement in English - spelling and grammar. We look forward to hearing from you.
