Role also includes typical child-related light housekeeping like picking up toys and crafts after activities, preparing kids' lunches and snacks, and loading the dishwasher. Ideal candidate is: a good communicator, patient, organized, and comfortable with parents who work from home. Guaranteed 30 hours/week. Daily schedule flexible for the right fit; ideally 10a-4p.

Our little guy is very social and loves to make new friends. He also loves tv and is quite the negotiator so we need someone who can distract him with activities that are more fun than he thinks watching tv is as we try to keep screen time to a minimum. He is a great sleeper and naps on schedule every day, although some days he protests it a bit. He has become a great communicator and most of the time can tell you what he wants, although sometimes words are hard and can be difficult to decipher. Someone who is patient when he feels frustrated by not being understood is a must (in time you'll figure out his hard-to-decipher words, and he will get better at saying them, but being 3 can be hard. :) Need someone dependable who is not opposed to be around sick kiddos. Most weeks I need someone on either Monday or Friday, not both days.

My husband will be in his lift chair when you arrive. Training will be given on the best way to move him from chair to the bathroom. He is fully able to take care of his personal needs. My dad, sister and I live here in the house and at home most of the time but it's really only my sister and I caring for mom. We have a small dog with diabetes who also requires my attention and we're exhausted. About the care needs: We're not looking for any specialized skills, just someone who has patience, is friendly and doesn't mind that there IS smoking in the house. Our need is afternoons/evenings and days of the week are totally open to negotiation. Services needed include: Companionship & helping her in & out of bed... this is probably a readers dream job. No laundry or college degree required.
