Hi caregivers! My son "N" is 15 months old. He's very easy going, no allergies or special needs and takes one nap a day. I'm a nurse working off hours and my husband is having to work a lot of overtime. We need someone to help with some of the day shifts I'm going to have to work and the mornings when my husband has to leave but I'm not home yet. We have two small friendly dogs, they don't need any care from you but they will be home.
Constructive play (Montessori style). We do almost all the chores together. And talking through everything, "N" love the process of things like getting ready to go outside or getting ingredients together to make breakfast for example.
"N" is saying new words everyday and loves reading board books together. He likes walking outside or trying to ride his bike up the driveway or throwing a ball for the dogs. He loves Bluey and watching a few episodes while he has a morning bottle and dancing to the music.
"N" doesn't have any very special requirements. He has a bottle or two of milk a day, usually eats what me or my husband is eating and snacks throughout the day. He walks and talks well and loves to help with chores so we try to talk through how to do everything and let him be independent as much as he can.
Our caregiver should be CPR and first aid trained. They would need to be able to put together an age appropriate meal for him with the food I have prepared. Clean up dishes and bottles after eating. Put him down for a nap in the middle of the day. Change diapers and assess for any rashes. And do some purposeful play with "N".
Plenty of parking on the property we live at the end of a country road so the caregiver would need they're own transportation.
Two small Irish terriers. Very friendly and fun. One is 5 and one is 2 and you can definitely tell who is the adult and who is still a puppy. June is a couch potato and Nola would like to play fetch 24/7!
