Christiansburg family needs a part-time nanny. Nov 7th is the first date right now that we know we will need a sitter. We are looking for someone who can take care of our son on weekdays when there is no school, school vacations (i. e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.), and possibly some date nights here and there. We may also attempt to line up an "emergency" sitter if he has to stay home sick from school. We're not sure about summer yet - we may elect to have someone full time then or we may enroll him in a summer-camp type program. We do have pets, so please consider that when applying.

Our full of life and energy 6-year-old is the life of the party. He is non verbal and has autism. He's been with us for about 3 years now. He's very smart and will challenge you in everything your doing if he sees your getting frustrated. He loves having all the attention and when he isn't getting it he will throw things and do negative things to get the attention. So, with that said we are looking for a nanny/sitter that will be patient with him and help him learn to be patient. We are a foster/adoptive home and have other children here. We want our potential family member (you) to be able to click with everyone so we stay as a family and welcome you in and be treated as such.

My daughter loves to play, sing and expressing herself. She still naps from 12-2 and is potty trained. I work less than 10 minutes from the house and just need someone who can fill the role of providing her basic needs and keeping her safe. Our ideal caregiver: Someone who is reliable and will make sure my daughter is well taken care of while I'm at work. Additional needs include having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker.

I have a 5-month-old daughter. I work from home full time and my husband works from home Monday, Wednesday, Friday and works out of the home on Tuesday and Thursday (most weeks). I am looking for someone to give me a little relief on Tuesdays or Thursdays or both by watching my daughter in my home. The time could vary depending on my work load that day and I may need more or less help some weeks. If your schedule needs to be more predictable, I am willing to set specific days and times. My daughter currently follows an eat, play, sleep pattern. She would need to be fed, diapers changed, played with, put down for naps, etc. I also have a dog who is friendly and loves to be loved so you must be comfortable with a needy but sweet dog. I'd prefer someone who has cared for infants before. Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
