We are looking for a wonderful, kind caretaker for 1 child in Durham, beginning in September while we work from home. We are looking for about 20 hours a week and are open to starting sooner (this summer possibly!). We would prefer someone flexible who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is comfortable with our sweet dog.

We are looking for someone to babysit a couple evenings a month starting in July, preferably Friday or Saturday evenings. We would also prefer it to be at our home since you will be responsible for feeding and putting our infant to sleep for the night. Responsibilities will include playing, bottle prep and feeding, feeding, light cleanup of dinner, diaper/clothes changes, story, and putting to sleep for the night. Our little one is generally pretty happy, and gets upset with the usual things - hungry, bored, tired. He enjoys interacting with people, babbling, and listening to books (he likes to turn the pages). We have a medium-sized dog who is also pretty lovable, though quite barky at first. She typically will bark a while when you first arrive and then chills out. Occasionally, you may need to let her out to use the bathroom.

Hi there! Our family is moving from Boston to Durham in June and looking for a part-time babysitter to take care of our sweet 1-year-old daughter three days per week. We have had a fabulous experience with our Boston babysitter in this first year and hope to find another reliable, responsible sitter who is able to commit to babysitting for at least a year and building a relationship with our little one. I work remotely three days each week 8am-6 p.m. (currently Tues, Wed, Thurs, but days can be adjusted based on babysitter availability). Our little one is a sweet and active toddler who loves to dance, read, and listen to music. We hope to find someone who helps her continue to explore and grow. She also loves her pup, our sweet and goofy goldendoodle, Weasley. Any sitter must be comfortable with pets.

We are looking for someone that can help us with after school care for our two boys, 9 and 6. The job would be about 3 hours a day (2 pm-5 pm) anywhere from 2-4 days per week. The schedule varies, but I would be able to provide the schedule months in advance. The job would involve picking up the children from school and shuttling them to various after school activities and then home. We are flexible with pay and want to find someone that can be with us for at least the whole year and hopefully more!

Hi! I'm the father of two sweet children in Trinity Heights. They are 4 and 6 years old. Because of the pandemic, mainly, we haven't really made ties to babysitters. We want that to change! Specifically, we want: 1) Someone with occasional evening availability whom our kids can start to get to know 2) Someone with availability during the school year (especially next year, but also in May/early June to give it a try), to pick them up from school at 2:15, twice a week, and hang out with them until about 5. Both of their parents work, and it's been a challenge to get them every day. We only live about three blocks from the school, so it's a walking situation.
