About Zhiara

My name is Zhiara, a 21-year-old from Colombia with a passion for caring for children. From a young age, I took care of my cousins, which ignited my love for childcare. After moving to the U. S. at 15, I deeply missed that connection. I have a 5-year-old sister whom I've cared for since birth; she affectionately calls me her second mother, highlighting our close bond. With over 5 years of experience, I've also worked with children of all ages, including those with autism. I graduated from Thousand Oaks School and attended Conejo Valley Adult School, taking courses in EKG, EMT, and phlebotomy, but I realized my true passion lies in childcare. I'm available for babysitting after my current job from 4-5 p.m. and am fluent in English and Spanish. Certified in CPR, I can also assist with cooking, transportation, and supervision. I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and supported, fostering trust and connection as a friend and mentor.
