About Taylor

Hi! My name is Taylor and I have my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies specifically for teaching (K-6) from California State University Channel Islands. I've been babysitting since the age of 11 and I have cared for kids from as early as newborns to as old as middle schoolers. Over the years, I have volunteered at numerous church camps, Sunday school classes and in a countless number of classrooms. I did a preschool program in high school and I had the opportunity to be a preschool assistant for a school year. Also, I completed my student teaching and was with 5th grade for a semester and kindergarten for the other semester. The last few months of this school year, I stepped into a substitute teaching role where I was able to professionally work with children from the ages of 5-12. I have a passion for working with kids and after having the chance to work alongside them in various environments, that passion has only continued to grow.
